Community Tasting Note

KJBC Does not like this wine:

Friday, April 2, 2021 - Just a bit past the tasting window (have so far had luck with that)
Colour very deep ruby guessing something blended here
Cherries and herbs on the nose
Medium activity
noticeably high alcohol not balanced (label says 14.7%)
Seems off dry with an aftertaste of chocolate (sadly reminds me of Apothic although I do prefer it to Apothic)
Sour cherries hot alcohol with a chocolate finish
Maybe it will be better with some food
For the money would prefer many other wines Pinot noir or otherwise; particularly some i have had from Beaune
