Saturday, June 13, 2020 - Fine Wines SG - "Who makes the best Syrah wine?" (Zoom): Pale garnet, browning fading edges. Pronounced ripe blackberry, cassis aromas, and a slight minty leafiness, as well as roses. Tannins seem resolved, while the intense fruit flavours of redcurrant and cassis permeates, ripe and somewhat candied, with a slight minty chill, and roast beef. Tea-like towards the back and finish, pretty long. Great!
