Sunday, May 24, 2015 - dull gold; there's age on the nose but little petrol, sweet yellow stonefruit/apricot and peach, cold smoke, even a hint of overripe exotic fruit (guave) and juicy raisins; tastes surprisingly easy going and light on its feet, almost fresh, still a bit pétillant, well integrated acidity, medium body, rounded sweet yellow fruit, crème brûlée but an underlying morbidity spoils the party a bit; ends quite dry without any bitterness.
