Thursday, April 27, 2017 - This wine has calmed down and rounded out in the year since I tasted it last (94 points - 4/16). A little more golden in color, still medium in body, nose of quince, green apple, and saline. Tastes of lemon and grapefruit, balanced almost equally by brioche and almond, with a finish that is far less tart - and far more appealing. 14.1% alcohol. This wine still has an intensity that suggests another year or two of aging, but this has entered a (quite enjoyable) drinking window.
