Saturday, May 1, 2021 - Restrained, silky, yet savoury style. A bit hollow on the mid palate, doesn't hit Brunello's or producer's usual quality.
N: lifted, racy, fresh, tertiary, almost spearmint, crushed graphite, wet iron. Classic sangio nose.
P: Dried raspberries, cranberry skin, rose petals, fresh, driven, rusted pennies, but manages to remain silky. Subtle, encroaching tannins that are incredibly fine grained (med+). Lacks either punch or complexity.
F: Some well manged heat that turns into freshness on the back palate. Cranberry skin, red apple.
