Saturday, October 9, 2021 - Annual Pilgrimage to Piedmont - 2021 Edition; 10/8/2021-10/10/2021 (Piemonte, Italy): Albeit the provenance was excellent ( The impeccable cellar of the La Ciau del Tornavento) the wine felt a bit past its peak and a bit old and tired. We frankly expected a lot more of longevity here but still even at this full mature and evolve state it was a very special occasion. 92
