Monday, July 12, 2021 - The warmest of Meyer Nakels vineyards. They own 3 acres of vines in the Sonnenberg on a 30% slope. This was opened alngside a 2009 Faiveley Vouget Grand Cru and it showed better according t the tasters. Deep purple color. Rich notes of black fruit and wet earth with solid tannins. No rush to drink this bottle if you have any. Creamy and full bodied finish. 94 points.
