Sunday, May 7, 2023 - Black Lion Wine Club - Lib Dem Italian Tasting (The Black Lion): Medium garnet. Dried cherry, orange rind, leather, thyme, earth. Quite ethereal - not a huge wine but so much complexity as you smell and taste. Medium sandy tannins, high acidity, long finish. Drinking beautifully now but has plenty of life ahead and will probably develop greater complexity over the next 10 years.
