Friday, December 16, 2022 - Unlike the last 2 bottles which were starting to hit their peak, this one is more youthful and backward. Still impressive. Dark color. Sweet earth, spice, peppers on the bouquet. On the palate, concentrated and complex with good fruit but also lots of tannins and acidity. Smoke, earth, minerals (Lots), gravel, earth. Long finish. Drinkable now, this bottle begs for a couple more years of ageing. Drink now to 2026, possibly longer
