Saturday, August 3, 2019 - Dense colour but lively; nose a little subdued of dark fruit and perfumed pepper; taste: initially closed, but after 1-2 hours emerges as soft and elegant. Not a big wine and with only reasonable mouthfeel, but it does broaden out into a soft and generous taste on the back palate (and, let's face it. that is where most wines end up).
Classed growths will have more weight, but within its own terms this is a very finely-made wine, light but satisfying.
And I haven't mentioned money.
