Friday, May 10, 2019 - Matchstick reduction, a judicious application of oak, lemon, and ginger define the gorgeous nose alongside an exotic floral component, perhaps due in part to the late June hail. Incredible concentration on the palate, with intense citrus wrapped around a mineral backbone running from first sip to the long, lingering finish. The 2014 Perrières is excellent. Incredibly drinkable today but best starting 2022.
