Saturday, July 4, 2020 - No decant and none absolutely needed but probably still best to pour into the decanter. Ripe red cherry, some strawberry. A bit heavy on the oak. Dried tomato and floral notes as well. Fresh and fruity palate, but simple in structure. This makes for immediate pleasure to drink and is in a good spot. A good Tignanello and probably even really good if they had used a softer touch with the oak.
