Saturday, August 20, 2022 - Clear deep ruby/garnet; clean medium nose of cassis, raspberry jam, balsamic, old leather, musty/dusty books and fall cracked leaves; dry; high acidity; medium plus tannins; medium plus alcohol; medium plus body; pronounced flavour intensity; palate is tarter with addition of cocoa and dried flowers; long long finish; drink now or in 5 years; this is an absolute stunning wine; velvety and beguiling like an seductress slipping into your DM; finish was over a minute long; no decant; peaked around an hour after being opened
