Wednesday, August 9, 2017 - Local Wine Shop Tasting - Abbreviated Notes

Visual: Ruby, hint o' brown @ rim. Med. viscosity.

Nose: Dark raspberry, dusty tannin, leather, touch of alcohol, macerated fermenting cherries.

Palate: Cherry, leather, tar, nice acid, good tannins, balanced, dense but not heavy. A touch rustic. It wants to be paired with boar stew.
