Friday, October 13, 2017 - Clear, pale, ruby in appearance. The nose is clean with med(+) intensity. The palate is dry, with med(+) acidity, med (smooth, fine) tannins, med alcohol, med body, med(+) intensity, and a med(+) finish. Notes of red cherry, cranberry, strawberry, violet, red plum, cedar, cloves, and forest floor.

Outstanding wine that hits all the right notes. Delicious now but will probably be way more interesting in 3-5 years and will easily age at least 10 years. This was our favorite in a horizontal tasting of three Kermit Lynch burgundies. Hold.
