Tasting notes said tea on the finish and you can clearly taste black tea. Good mouthfeel, medium finish, mild, but wells structured tannins. I prefer more fruit-forward pinots, so this one was not a great buy for $50 for me. If you prefer earthy pinots, I'd definitely recommend even at $50.
