Sunday, May 3, 2020 - I think Blauweiss has it spot on. Perfect claret colour. Nose initially a little menthol chemical vs cedar but that mellowed. Then a classic St Estephe balance of minerals and fruit. Each section well defined and some interesting acidity ( almost riesling like!) makes this a very serious wine. 2005 showing really well now
