Sunday, September 13, 2020 - Decanted for a couple of hours. Wow, this was totally different to the 2004 Giscours we had the other day, so much better! Sweet perfumey cassis on the nose, perhaps a touch of barnyard when opened but that had disappeared after the decant. The palate was smooth, integrated tannins, excellent cassis, very delicious. This is definitely in its drinking window and will surely last more years in the cellar.
