Monday, October 24, 2022 - Dark, cloudy color; completely opaque. Quite a modern nose of blackberry and a good dose of green pepper. At least I think it is the typical green pepper note. It always reminds me a bit of burnt plastic as well. Entry is quite rich and extracted. Syrupy mid mouth and a quite herbal finish. A touch of tannins but really not much of interest here. Overly extracted and likely made to drink when bottled with a pizza. It would overpower most anything else frankly. That is not intended as a compliment.
