Friday, September 18, 2020 - Very smooth medium bodied wine. The fruit is a little on the thin side so you have to be patient. Lovely nose with the fruit exhibiting an unusually fresh scent. The palate is sophisticated with secondary characteristics. I find a combination of cherry candy, red raspberry, and blue fruits. At 15.5% alcohol one would think the wine might be hot, but the hundred acre Ark is smooth and resolved like a fine French pomerol. This is a wine that you do not want to rush. It is best to sip without dinner and ponder just on its own.

9/19/2020 3:59:00 PM - Second day more of the same, but more concentrated. Character profile is typical Hundred Acre. Medium plus bodied, smooth, silky, and soft. Would like more fruit and perhaps another year would be better.
