Sunday, April 30, 2017 - Clean, medium-bodied, good balance, but lacks complexity at this point; not sure it's ever going to develop. Pure, red-fruited, tannins nearly fully integrated. Seems like one to enjoy in its youth; good freshness still, though there's a nagging sense that this isn't going to be there forever; best in the near/mid-term, I think. Drink now thru 2025. I wanted to like it more than I actually did.

Double-decanted one hour before serving, non-blind.
