Thursday, May 9, 2019 - Quite dark garnet color, wonderful nose of dark crushed berries and some enticing pine forest, with interesting spice notes; the dark fruit palate is deep and intense, with an unusual flavor note, almost gamay-like, some of that same spice comes through, with excellent acidity, and some moderate but slightly gripping and mouth drying tannins. Very youthful, but a fascinating, deeply flavorful, complex and delicious wine.
