Tuesday, June 8, 2021 - Unexpectedly found this bottle in my cellar since it wasn’t in my inventory. Coravin pour. Dark, nearly opaque garnet color. Nose is slightly oaky with chocolate, tobacco and cedar with just a hint of black more than red fruit. Deeply flavored and richly textured. Fruit is blueberry, black cherry, cassis and jammy pomegranate. There are also some minty and herbal elements on the palate with slightly noticeable alcohol and a much thinner finish. More later after it gets a little air.
