Sunday, February 25, 2024 - A standout dry riesling amongst dozens of rieslings in the room (and also delivered way more intrigue than its older sibling, an '07 Kirschpiel). The rocky mineral elements are strong in this one and the aroma in the glass is like sticking your nose into a basalt mine. The fruit per the usual Keller house style is pure, pale, and zesty but it's in a nice spot where it's still quite fresh but without the punishing acid attack of young Keller.
