Saturday, September 23, 2023 - This is drinking really well, a juicy and large wine that now has some interesting tertiary notes creeping in. It doesn’t have much of a sense of place, and blind I would pick it as a decent mid range Napa Cab (which would be $10-20 more expensive).
Primary flavors are concentrated and juicy black fruits with prominent American oak (vanilla etc). Some chocolate, some leather. Decent acid and length. Pairs well with food.
