Wednesday, July 18, 2018 - Popped and poured. Medium or maybe medium plus intensity with ripe raspberry fruit, a deep floral bouquet and a minty core. Pleasantly juicy on the palate, but also rather simple and acidic. Easily enjoyable without a decant in my view given hardly noticable evolution in the glass (kept one for 2h or so). Decent power and finish, but slightly astringent and overall a tad over-extracted for my liking. Maybe 2-3yrs of additional bottle age would help? Preferred the 2015 which I had on the same occasion and didn't have the over-extraction traits and was super easy to drink already.
