Tuesday, July 11, 2017 - Drank at a wine bar. Luckily had this decanted 3 hours prior to arrival. Ruby in color with a nose of cassis and dark cherry and a bit of alcohol. Drank over a couple of hours and this wine was still pretty tight. It is a medium bodied wine with big tannins and nice acidity. There was definitely some heat and this could use another year in the cellar. The nutty goat cheese log I had complimented this well.
