Wednesday, January 5, 2022 - Talk about experiencing the full life cycle of a wine. I had six bottles of this at one time and popped my last one open tonight. As fresh and pristine as the very first bottle. Medium body with dark cherry but an elegant and smooth delivery. Fully integrated and still drinking beautifully. In fact, while some don’t care for how big Russell’s wines are, this beautiful Pinot is far from over the top. Almost an elegance and grace. This is truly an example of synergy across the various characteristics and components of this wine- the whole is greater than the sun of its parts. I am so fortunate to have experienced this wine over the course of a number of years.
