94 Points

Saturday, January 6, 2024 - $100+ Tasting (Liz's House): Leeuwin Art Series always shows well. I think the top Australian Chardonnay. Nose showed some petrol initially, that blew off with extended time in the glass, giving way to white flowers and lime zest with a little spice. Palate was quite nice, showing some lively fruit (mostly citrus and green apple, with notes of pear) along with spice and sweet toasty oak.

Still quite young and lively, so no hurry to drink, but not in a bad spot now if you want to open one! 93+ to 94 for me, and very enjoyable, as always!
