Friday, October 18, 2002 - Alsace: The Alsatian Gourmet (Lay & Wheeler, Colchester): Wow! What a nose! Fantastic. Full & fresh nose - with a big touch of smoked haddock. Lovely attack. Oily, rich, quite fat. Very satisfying. Complex, full and generally excellent.
