Friday, December 1, 2023 - Savart-a-thon (Cru and Domaine, Portland OR): This is really aromatic on the nose as the tones of almonds, red apples, bosc pears, biscuits, nectarines, toast, candied lemons, and yellow flowers all weave together beautifully with just the right amount of oxidative tones. The Medium bodied feel is well balanced and lively with racy, high acidity and a lengthy finish. This is showing off a different level from the previous two wines and is where things start to get serious.
