100 Points

Friday, December 22, 2023 - From half-bottle. Nuanced with laser-sharp precision. Saffron, spice, honey, bees wax, forest honey. Additionally layered with almonds, hazelnuts, apricot, candid grapes, quince. Every time you take a whiff you’ll find something new. A creamy texture, amazing texture and splash of fresh acidity. Spicy and long finish. Consistent to the palate, layer after layer on the palate. I’ve had this 4 times now since release in 2018 and simply can’t imagine how a Sauternes or in fact a sweet wine in general could be any better.
