90 Points

Thursday, November 28, 2019 - Bright, translucent golden amber. I've enjoyed several of these old ex-domaine Huet bottles and not one has shown even a lick of oxidation. The nose is defined by the smells of an old cellar that moderate but never fully dissipate, alongside more appealing beeswax and mushroom aromas. The palate still carries a bit of residual sugar and a sense of effervescence to frame attractive flavors of honey, orange peel, and dried rose. A gorgeous wine at one hundred! Wow!
