Friday, November 23, 2012 - Decanted for one hour. Darkest purple, looks young; complex nose of terroir, tobacco, cedar, mint, rich Cabernet fruit; mid-body to big; mid-to-high viscosity; becoming more approachable as tannins soften; hints of wood, chocolate and berries in the finish; almost chewy. Two couples enjoyed with filet mignon, rack of lamb and wild boar. Wine a match for them all. Taste again in five years!
