Sunday, December 25, 2022 - Decanted an hour before service; the fill was into the neck and the cork was pristine. Deep garnet, turning to blood red at the rim. Classic bouquet, eventually opening up to reveal scents of dried plums, briar patch, cigar box, scorched earth; hints of black truffle. Medium bodied, made in a classic style, with a velvety texture, excellent grip and delineation, with a long and savory finish.
