Thursday, May 4, 2023 - This 1999 Meursault is likely the most reductive Coche Dury I have tasted. At 23 years of age, it does not show much signs of ageing. Beautifully expressive bouquet of sweet citrus & white fruits and buttery popcorn. Some saline and spice touch underneath the layer of reduction. Relatively light bodied compared to more recent vintages, but compensated by its stunning bouquet. Gorgeous today but will continue to age for another decade (minimum). An incredible village wine! (92/100)
