Friday, November 25, 2022 - The wine was fizzing like sparkling wine upon opening.
Aroma: yeasty and closed in the beginning but then opened up to wet stone, buttery popcorn, vanilla, honeysuckle, white flower and tropical fruits.
Palate: lemon curd, honey, citrus, creamy, bright acidity with a medium-long finish. Paired with some white cheddar and it mellowed out the acidity greatly. It was also delicious paired with Caldo de Pollo. This is definitely a food pairing white burgundy. 90-91
