Sunday, September 5, 2021 - Dinner at Jaleo (Chicago, IL): Yeah, all PYCM wines taste kind of the same and this one also shows very clearly the house style. Opulent and incredibly rich, broad, and oaky, this also has a really good kick of acidity on the back end to balance things out. The oak shows fairly prominently but it's not astringent; you get more of a lactone thing instead of any bitterness. Slightly waxy texture that is either the producer style or the village.
