Sunday, September 5, 2010 - Purchased this week for 15.10 € (slightly below 20$) at Leclerc supermarché in Lesparre/Médoc, close to the château itself; decanted; very dark ruby; intense, dark-fruited nose with hints of cedar, big legs; overwhelming dark fruit (cassis, blueberry) on the palate, substantial dry but nicely integrated tannins, good finish, lingering tannins; very inviting wine showing great Bordeaux' characteristics, a must-buy at this price point
