Sunday, April 20, 2014 - deep Purple Red with faint brown edge. Seductive and vibrant berry nose with subdued oak behind, very fresh for its age. Palate harmonious with very good weight of fruit, perhaps reflecting the vintage. However this is no overripe fruit-bomb, the balance with very fine tannins is superb and the finish is long, lingering and classic. Pity this is my last. despite being at its peak it could be enjoyed for many years.
