90 Points

Saturday, August 18, 2007 - fine dark brick red, slow evolvement in color; double decanted to help the nose expand; some tannins remaining but more round than the 1988; full bodied cabernet aroma with some mediterranean impressions; more pleasing than, again, 1988. fully mature but enough "energy" for at least 5 more years. very good; should be decanted because of the sediment and to help the wine breathe for at least 1 hour in advance; to be drunk at around 16 degr. celsius.
