Saturday, December 5, 2020 - Dark red color, still opaque in the center and scarcely lightening at the rim.
On the nose complex and beguiling medley of smells: damp forest floor, mushrooms, leather dust, graphite and some cedar. quite intense and enthralling.
On the palate: a fine coating of dusty tannins; wine seems to be drying out a bit. The bouquet is definitively more enticing than the taste. Still: the wine went well with the roast goose, bread dumplings and cabbage.
On the whole I would say: drink upon over the next 5 years.
