Friday, February 4, 2022 - Was pleasantly surprised by this bottle. There is a lot of chocolate and vanilla oak both on the nose and palate, but it’s pleasantly harmonious with the blackberry, dark cherry and plum fruit, with a savoury almost umami thread through the wine. It is bold and somewhat obvious, but it’s also developed some interesting complexity too. Silky palate.
