Sunday, June 2, 2013 - Aerated to decanter 30 minutes (perfect), served non-blind. Still good to go, with only a trace sign of age. Aromas skew toward Amarone - raisin, cassis, toffee and black earth. Full-bodied, but still lifted, with a lovely cascade of ripe black fruits on the lengthy finish. Complex on the nose, and very compatible with tonight's grilled ribeye. 14% abv, the last from a case purchased on release. Another 3-4 solid years ahead if cellared properly. recommended
