Monday, January 1, 2018 - Dark inky red color, well balanced California cab, quite tannic, low acid, drank over two days better on the second day. Black fruit on the nose, flavors of chocolate, very ripe blackberry, touch of tobacco, leather and maybe a hint of cheese aged in a cave, little oaky when first opened, oak wasn't noticeable day two. Medium-long finish. Very good, will be even better in 5-10 years.
