Sunday, November 20, 2022 - In my cellar since release, from 500 ml bottle, decanted for 2 hours before tasting over several more. 12.9% ABV. This is a beautiful old world style Syrah with bright red fruit, game meat notes and lots of peppery aromatics. Palate is mouthwatering with acidity and very long on the finish. This was really impressive with more bottle age and was great with a truffle agnolotti with butter, mushrooms and sage. It really made the truffle elements “pop”. Complex and balanced. Can’t wait to see how this continues to improve over time from 3 different format bottles.
