95 Points

Saturday, July 25, 2020 - A small gathering with COVID safety measures at Bryan's (Undisclosed location in McLean, VA): Expressive extremely youthful nose displaying incredibly concentrated yellow and white fruit, white peach, a hint of pineapple, fresh lemon juice, beeswax, spicy spices, white flowers and crushed rock. Unbelievable concentration, layers upon layers of perfectly ripe sweet yellow fruit, rich and dense, an incredible amount of extract, medium acidity, strong limestone mineral and a long concentrated slightly coiled yellow fruit driven finish with beeswax and limestone at the end. There is a hint of alcohol at the end. This clearly expresses the 05 ripeness. This is a powerful concentrated wine, a bit closer to Batard than Chavalier.
