Saturday, March 14, 2020 - A nice bottle....$120 at auction. Don't think I'd pay more than that for this bottle. Nice red fruit, uplifting acidity. A tinge lighter weight in the mouth but it gets better with time in glass. Best at 1-2 hours of air. Solid wine, just nothing extra spectacular.

3/16/2020 5:13:00 AM - Like you, I always hope the '13s will improve, too. I have lately been wanting to let them sit but HMC was over and I wanted to pull out another bottle he'd never had. It was enjoyed by all, it was also very different than the '12 Turnbull and the '16 B Cellars. Odd, to me, in that it was probably the most basic of them all. Good, but basic, if that makes sense. Will it get better? Not sure. It didn't seem to have the 'stuffing' of the others. But it was very approachable and open for business.
