Saturday, January 8, 2022 - Popped and poured, the wine was open and aromatic immediately. At age seven the wine is slightly bigger than when younger, but is losing structure and tension, so drink up by 2023. The aromatic profile is excellent, with white fruits, a hint of citrus, and a very nice mineral finish, just enough oak to give it a nice Burgundy character and lovely iodine bite, and excellent balance. Remarkably, it was still delicious on night three. Outstanding QPR.
