Saturday, January 14, 2012 - Opened and poured to a nice grapey purple coloring. A muted nose and a hot finish at the start. The wine opened after about 1hr to leave some nice dark fruit flavors (blackberry, blueberry) and some earthiness. A bit light overall but the tannins have dropped off. While ready to drink, it would have lasted a couple more years properly cellared.
